Slumps, Fears and Blocks- What can you do as an athlete?
Don't get frustrated when you are struggling in the pool or on land with homework or any other skills. The more you struggle, the more your brain grows.
Remember, one of the most powerful senses we have is vision. Ever heard of monkey see, monkey do? Well my li'l swimming friends, here are some videos for you to see so that you can do just like these great athletes. Some things to note for the little ones: you shouldn't stay underwater as long as their Olympic peers on starts. As they grow and develop greater lung capacity and strength this will be something we work on, but no 10 & Under needs to be going underwater for 15 meters!
